The View of Jericho

While at the Temptation Center, please take the time to visit The View of Jericho.
Every day, groups of tourists come to Jericho, Old City, to enjoy the climate and to see the historic site.  They come to the lowest point on earth and reserve lunch at Mount of Temptation Restaurant and then enjoy the highest point, which is located at the top of the establishment.  It’s been known as the View of Jericho and called the highest point at the lowest point.

From the View Cafe, looking North, you can see Jericho Old City, and by looking East you can see the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights.  You can also see the tip of the Dead Sea, and the highest mountain in Jordan.

The View of Jericho has become a popular tourists panoramic photo opportunity.
